A Venezuelan Bakery in Doral, one cake at a time.
SugarLemon is Rita. She bakes every order herself in a licensed home kitchen in Doral, the way she learned at home in Venezuela: slowly, with real butter, and with a lot of opinions about dulce de leche.
The name is the two halves of what we make. Sugar is the bakery side, the birthday cakes and the alfajores that show up at every family gathering. Lemon is the bright part, the citrus glaze on the NAKED cake and the summer orders that started it all.
We are a small cottage bakery, so we take a limited number of orders each week. That means your cake gets the whole afternoon, not a slot on a conveyor.
