What is the curated line?

Ten cake designs (NAKED, BLOOM, ROSE, FLORA, GRACE, EMBER, DRIP, CANVAS, CACAO, VINTAGE) that we make regularly and can quote right away. You pick the flavor and filling; flowers and colors can be swapped on any of them. These cake designs have a quicker turn around time. Usually they can be delivered in 2 days.

Can you do sugar-free, gluten-free, or nut-free?

We've made sugar-free cakes and can leave nuts out of most things. Everything is made in one home kitchen that handles wheat, eggs, dairy, and nuts, so we can't promise zero cross-contact for severe allergies.

Are you a licensed bakery?

We operate under Florida's Cottage Food Law, which lets us bake and sell from a home kitchen. That's why every order is by appointment and there's no storefront. Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations.

Do you deliver?

Yes. Delivery within 5 miles of Doral is included. 5 to 12 miles is $10. Farther than that, or anything with setup at the venue, we quote separately. Pickup in Doral is always an option.

Where do I pick up?

From our home kitchen in Doral, by appointment. We confirm the exact address and a pickup window once your order is set.

How far in advance should I order?

Most cakes need at least [5 days]. Tiered cakes and weddings need [2 to 4 weeks]. Cookies, alfajores, and pavlovas can sometimes be done on shorter notice, so ask. We take a limited number of orders each week and popular dates fill up.

How do I pay?

Zelle is preferred. A [50%] deposit holds your date and the balance is due [at pickup or delivery]. No sales tax applies to cottage food orders.

Can I send you a photo of a cake I like?

Please do. Send it with your inquiry. We'll tell you what we can match, what we'd do differently, and what it would cost. Most of our orders start exactly this way.

How many people does each size serve?

6" serves 8 to 12. 7" Standard 14 to 18, 7" Double Barrel 26 to 32. 8" Standard 16 to 22, 8" Double Barrel 32 to 38. Tiered cakes go from about 40 up to 80, and we quote those individually. Please review our Menu page for further details.

How should I store the cake?

Refrigerate it, and take it out about an hour before serving. Cakes with fresh flowers or whipped cream should stay cold until the party. Keep it flat and out of the car's sun.

What if I need to cancel or change the date?

Accepted Answer

Life happens, and we will always try to work with you. Let us know at least 5 days before the event for single-tier cakes, or 14 days for tiered and wedding cakes, and we'll move your deposit to a new date or refund it. Inside that window the deposit isn't refunded, but we're happy to apply it to another order within 60 days. Flowers, toppers, and edible prints already bought for your cake can't be refunded.
